NYC based Jennifer Glass was raised in Jackson, Miss, and rural New Hampshire. Along with playing regularly in the Northeast, Glass and her band have made their way from coast to coast in 2006, playing dates with Dave Matthews Band, Ben Kweller, Rhett Miller, The Hotel Cafe Tour, Will Hogue, and Sam Roberts Band. Glass induldged her love of country music when she recorded Bruce Springsteen's "Bobby Jean" on a tribute record, with famed bluegrass musican Sam Bush and his band, before making any recordings of her own. Dave Marsh, host of the Sirius radio show "Kick Out The Jams" and celebrated rock writer recently said Glass " speaks from her heart", an essential element of her soulful, melodic writing. She is joined currently by musicians Tommy Borscheid ( Honey Dogs, Rhett Miller), Catherine Popper ( Ryan Adams ) Mark Stepro ( Ben Kweller ), David Berger (Shivaree). The appropriately titled "Little Shout" is Glass' first release, produced by Borscheid, mixed by Adam Lasus ( Clap Your Hands Say Yeah).
